Being simple has its benefits: sitting back, musing at all the wonderful moments life gives you and the unpredictable ones that would come your way - isn't that the greatest? For one, you can never feel too old, getting old, too young, or too far behind your elders to bother with catching up with anything. I'm neither young nor old, I know I'm growing up, I have a life, I have a story for every moments with them. And they're just the most sophisticated parts of my rather average existence.

WELCOME!

This is a life story.
This is where my dreams, experiences, directions,
mind states, imaginations, heartbeats, breaths and focuses
meet and bend.

Verbally Stunted

Okay, I'll admit it: I'm not a good speaker. I never was one despite having been exposed in the department. Sadly I've never in all my life been able to polish this potential in me. I'm honestly slow and my tongue tumbles through all the words that my mind bombards me with. Notes barely help me go through the speech. It sometimes is very distracting and becomes a waste of ink and tree bark when I realize I couldn't get to the point.

I'm not a good conversationalist, debater, nor impromptu speaker. I can't even defend myself from people who make snide remarks about me in my face!

I'm taking up English 3: Speech Communication as a course requisite to complete my second year. I'm now on a daily meditative state to control my bustling mind that could randomly go into traffic or just as blank as a paper. Finals exam requires each student to come up with his chosen speech and present it flawlessly in front of the class. That means that I only have at least two weeks to memorize and practice proper diction and gestures to achieve at least 1-point-something to add up for my final grade.

I'm very bad at memorizing. Add that to my hectic brain and I'm sure to go verbally stunted in front of the class. Hopefully all of my childhood experiences in speech delivery will come back to me to at least wrap me up in a facade of confidence. If not, well...

Let me just start memorizing.
